CONTEST THAT BECAME A NATIONWIDE LAUNCH

Prada launched a contest asking participants to design a fantasy heroine who must wear Prada Swing sunglasses in a comic strip, exploring the possibilities of how different creative worlds can intermingle without any set rules. Always looking for a new challenge and a chance to explore our creative talents, we chose to participate.

Inspired by film noir, our manga was created using computer renderings in which the Swing sunglasses reflect the storyline, visually telling a compelling story with the use of recognizable New York landmarks while weaving in notable jazz references.

PRADA SWING SUNGLASS HUT LAUNCH
Our story portrays the heroine as both empowered and non-violent. The end result is an innovative comic strip that has a unique quality befitting of the luxury style of the Prada brand. With more than 600 entrants, we received first place and Prada chose to create a video by Hollywood director James Lima and use the original artwork as the nationwide launch of the Swing sunglass through Sunglass Hut.
